Cookie policy

This document defines the rules for storing and accessing information on the User's devices using cookies, for the purpose of providing services electronically requested by the User, by Red Bird, based in Łódź.

  1. Definitions
    1. Administrator - entity conducting business activity under the name Red Bird (business address and correspondence address: Lublinek 49, 93-469 Łódź), NIP: 727 27 87 727, KRS: 0000438905, e-mail address: sklep@niedajsieokrasc.pl - hereinafter referred to as the ‘Administrator’ and being at the same time the Service Provider of the Internet Shop and the Seller.
    2. Cookies - means IT data, in particular small text files, recorded and stored on the devices through which the User uses the Website.
    3. Own Cookies - means Cookies placed by the Administrator, related to the provision of electronic services by the Administrator through the Website.
    4. External Cookies - means Cookies placed by the Administrator's partners, through the website of the Service.
    5. Website - means the website under which the Administrator operates an online shop, operating on the domain www.niedajsieokrasc.pl.
    6. Device - means an electronic device with access to the Internet through which the User accesses the Website.
    7. User - means an entity to whom, in accordance with the Regulations and legal provisions, electronic services may be provided or with whom an Agreement for the provision of electronic services may be concluded.
  2. Types of Cookies used
    1. Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the User's Device. In particular, by this means it is not possible for viruses or other unwanted or malicious software to enter the Users' Devices. These cookies allow to identify the software used by the User and to customise the Website for each individual User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain from which they originate, the length of time they are stored on the Device and the assigned value.
  1. The Administrator uses two types of cookies:
    1. Session cookies: they are stored on the User's Device and remain there until the session of the respective browser ends. The stored information is then permanently deleted from the Device's memory. The mechanism of session cookies does not allow any personal data or any confidential information to be collected from the User's Device.
    2. Permanent cookies: are stored on the User's Device and remain there until deleted. The end of the session of the browser in question or the deactivation of the Device does not cause them to be deleted from the User's Device. The mechanism of persistent cookies does not allow the collection of any personal data or any confidential information from the User Device.
    3. The User has the possibility to restrict or disable the access of cookies to his Device. If this option is exercised, the use of the Website will be possible, except for functions that by their nature require cookies.
  2. Purposes for which Cookies are used
  • The Administrator uses Own Cookies for the following purposes:

Service configuration
adapting the content of the Service's web pages to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of the Service's web pages;
recognizing the Service User's device and its location and appropriately displaying the web page, adjusted to their individual needs;
remembering the settings selected by the User and personalizing the User's interface, e.g. in terms of the selected language or region from which the User comes;
remembering the history of visited pages on the service in order to recommend content;
font size, appearance of the website, etc.

  • User authentication on the service and ensuring the user's session on the service

maintaining the Service User's session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter the login and password on each subpage of the Service;
correct configuration of selected Service functions, enabling in particular verification of the authenticity of the browser session;
optimization and increase in the efficiency of the services provided by the Administrator.

  • Implementation of processes necessary for full functionality of websites

adapting the content of the Service's websites to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of the Service's websites. In particular, these files allow for the recognition of the basic parameters of the User's Device and appropriately displaying the website, tailored to their individual needs;

correct operation of the affiliate program, enabling in particular verification of the sources of Users' redirection to the Service's websites.

  • Remembering the user's location

correct configuration of selected Service functions, enabling in particular the adjustment of the information provided to the User, taking into account their location.

  • Analysis and research and audience audit

creation of anonymous statistics that help understand how the Service Users use the Service's websites, which allows for the improvement of their structure and content.

  • Provision of advertising services

adapting the advertisements of third-party services and products presented via the Service;

  • Ensuring the security and reliability of the service

  • Using interactive functions to popularize the service using social networking sites:

  • Presenting opinions on the Service's websites, which are downloaded from an external website:

  • In the event that the source of the user's visits are advertisements broadcast by other entities that cooperate with the Service, cookies containing session identification are then created, and after the last step of placing an order, data on the number and amount are also transferred to these companies, as necessary for billing purposes. These entities are: Grupa Allegro Sp. z o.o.
  1. Possibilities of specifying the conditions for storing or obtaining access by Cookies
  • The User may independently and at any time change the settings for Cookies, specifying the conditions for their storage and obtaining access by Cookies to the User's Device. The User may change the settings referred to in the previous sentence using the web browser settings or by means of service configuration. These settings may be changed in particular in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to inform about them each time Cookies are placed on the User's device. Detailed information on the possibilities and methods of handling cookies is available in the software (web browser) settings.
  • The User may delete Cookies at any time using the available functions in the web browser they use. Restricting the use of Cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Service's website. In the event of deleting or restricting the use of Cookies, the use of some of the Service's functionalities may be difficult or impossible.
